As a Wheeler House wedding photographer, I absolutely love this Ball Ground, Georgia venue. It’s one of the most charming places to shoot in North Georgia. Nestled in the foothills and surrounded by oak trees, The Wheeler Housefeels like it’s straight out of a Southern fairytale. Amanda and Joshua’s February wedding was filled with elegance, intimacy, and heart.
Even in winter, the venue glows with warmth and character. The Victorian-style home, rustic barn, and wide-open grounds create a timeless backdrop. Every moment offers beautiful light, rich textures, and space to breathe — which makes storytelling through photography so natural.
I especially love how many photo opportunities the venue provides. The white porch, the modern barn, and the tree-lined ceremony space each tell a different part of the couple’s story. Everything flows together seamlessly. It’s easy for couples to move from getting ready to the ceremony and reception without stress.
