Planning an Oregon Elopement but unsure where? I recently did an elopement in Brookings, OR and it was the most breathtaking and unreal experience. Just located 2 hours from the Medford Airport – Brookings, OR has so much to offer. There are plenty of spots to do your elopement ceremony. This couple said their “I dos” on Secret Beach located near Samuel H. Boardman Natural Bridges. You are able to find the path to Secret Beach on All Trails. There are two ways to hike down to Secret Beach – one is a 1.9 mile moderate hike.
The other trail to get to Secret Beach is much more family friendly with a more straight shot down to the beautiful beach, both trails are available on All Trails. My couple had their ceremony at 4:30pm. We wanted to make sure we had plenty of time before the tide came in to capture beautiful photos on the beach. If you plan on doing an evening wedding, 4:30pm PST is the latest possible time. Another time that is recommend is 11am PST since the tide is the lowest at that time. After the couples wedding ceremony, they did vows on the rock and then we ran around the beach having the time of our lives!
